An angle (often called a “hook” or perspective) is the specific focus or point of view chosen to tell a story. While a topic can be massive, an angle narrows it down to one sharp, interesting viewpoint.
The Filter: It chooses which facts to highlight and which to downplay.
The Purpose: It makes a story unique, relevant, and engaging to a specific audience.
The Example: If the broad topic is “The rise of electric vehicles,” one angle could be “How EV battery disposal impacts local landfills,” while another angle could be “The thrill of racing electric sports cars.” How They Work Together
